Powerscourt Estate is located on Ireland’s East Coast just 30 minutes from Dublin City Centre, in the foothills of the Wicklow mountains. Powerscourt Gardens was awarded No. 3 in the Top 10 Gardens of the World by National Geographic. Lonely Planet guide has selected Powerscourt as one of the top 10 places to visit saying “it’s one of the most beautiful and inspiring places in the world”.

Dating back to the 13th century, Powerscourt is a vast multi award winning country estate noted for its magnificent Palladian style mansion and 47 acres of formal landscaped gardens. Set on a commanding hilltop position, against the backdrop of the Sugarloaf mountain, a sweeping terrace on the mansion’s southside opens onto a breath-taking, ornamental garden and lake. From there, this horticultural adventure continues through The Italian Garden. The Walled Gardens, The Dolphin Pond, through our Woodlands into the Japanese Garden, Pet’s Cemetery, and then to Tower Valley with its Pepperpot Tower. Our new Immersive Path brings you through the Rhododendron Walk. The trees act as a natural sound proofing shield and two resting areas nestled amongst the plants will ensure you can take time out to reflect, reset and to connect with nature. Powerscourt House is home to the award-winning Avoca café and the best of Irish design. There is so much to discover with a history and culture spanning over 800 years.
